Our ice cream social the day before school starts each year is an exciting way to welcome our families back from the summer break! In the early fall, we invite our grandparents to campus for a special day to honor them with a music program, lunch, and classroom activities. That event is followed by our Celebration of Thanks just prior to the Thanksgiving break where families can enjoy music and lunch with our students. Our children deliver three knock-out performances of our winter production each December at the Arts Center for area pre-school children, our school family, and the community.
Our younger students organize a paper drive for the Family Care Center and work closely with our middle school students to collect and deliver the donated items. We assemble teams of students and their family members annually to raise money and to participate in the Brett's Ride and Susan G. Komen races.
Spring semester is equally action-packed with opportunities for our families to interact and to celebrate our children and our school. We hold an annual auction open to the community that serves as our primary fundraising event for the year. Our children exercise their competitive spirit during Springfest, an afternoon of team-building games and challenges that highlight the students' development through our physical wellness program. We conclude our school year with another exceptional musical production by all of our students at the Arts Center and a graduation ceremony that is a celebration and reflection of the hard work of every student within our school.
